Edhaz Markets Pvt Ltd

Our Privacy Commitment

Edhaz Markets Private Limited (“we,” “our,” or “us”) operates AlphaLens. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights available to you.

This Policy should be read together with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Two Ways You May Reach AlphaLens

AlphaLens is used both by people who subscribe directly and by people whose broker or financial institution provides it to them. The way you reached the service determines who is responsible for your data.

If you registered directly on thealphalens.com

Edhaz Markets Private Limited is the controller of your personal information and this Policy applies to you in full.

If you reached AlphaLens through a broker, distributor, or other institution

Including where the service carries that institution’s branding — then:

  • That institution decides what data is processed and for what purpose. It is the controller.
  • We process that data on the institution’s instructions, in order to deliver the analytical service. We are a processor.
  • That institution’s privacy policy governs its own collection and use of your information.
  • Requests to access, correct, or delete your data should be made to that institution first. We will support them in responding.
  • Sections 5 to 8 of this Policy nonetheless describe how we handle data in our custody, and those protections apply regardless of the route by which data reached us.

2. Information We Collect

Information provided to us

  • • Identity & contact:name, email address, mobile number, and where required for a paid subscription, billing details.
  • • Portfolio & holdings:securities held, quantities, average cost, and transaction history that you upload, enter, or authorise us to retrieve, or that a partner institution transmits to us on your behalf.

Information from third parties

Where you authorise a connection to a broker, depository, or other service, we receive holdings and transaction data from it. Where a partner institution transmits data on your behalf, we receive what that institution sends under its agreement with us. In both cases we receive only what is necessary to deliver the analysis.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand usage, and maintain security.

Cookies on our Platform fall into three categories: strictly necessary cookies required for the Platform to function; preference cookies that remember your settings; and analytics cookies that help us understand usage patterns. Subject to applicable law, you may:

Access the personal information we hold about you
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
Delete your account and associated data
Withdraw consent to marketing communications
Export holdings data in machine-readable format

To exercise these rights, write to hello@alphamarket.co.in. If you reached AlphaLens through a partner institution, please address your request to that institution first; we will support them in responding. We respond within the period required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

10. Children

The Platform is not directed at persons under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International Transfers

Our infrastructure is located in India. Where a service provider processes data outside India, we require contractual protections consistent with this Policy and applicable Indian data protection law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified through the Platform or by email, and to partner institutions under our agreements with them. The revision date above indicates when it was last updated.
